This girl is four!

Sofia's 4 today! Holy crap that went fast. I mean now she's saying "holy rat burgers" (thanks grandpa mike!) and "are you kidding me!" She's even got the sarcastic tone down to a tee. We have a clear picture of what she'll be like as a teenager! Hilarious with a sassy undertone. So for the last two years she's wanted a skateboard (there's a skate shop a block away from our home- weird for Chicago!) and clearly a 4 year old can't ride a skateboard but Andy found a princess one at play it again sports so we thought, why not. We got her the elbow/knee pads and gloves and she was psyched. While all she did was hold my hand while the skateboard flew out from under her, she loved it! Such a great day and so happy to be mostly out of the terrible 3s (because let's be honest, 3 was worst than 2).
And we celebrated with my parents last weekend-the most exciting part was her catching her hair on fire! We are awesome parents.
