The Holidays...

As usual, this is a late update but thought we'd share the best parts of our holidays. Our married life has already been a whirlwind of amazing moments and memories, although admittedly short compared to others. We began the family holiday switching last year and have found ourselves enjoying the time to relax for an entire holiday with each of our families. It's great to sit back and enjoy the moments that we'd miss if we were running around trying to do it all. We may have missed Collin, my nephew, learning how to "skolt" (cheers) during Thanksgiving dinner or Caleb, Andy's nephew, enjoying the thrill of knocking down all the picture frames on the shelf he can reach at Mike & Pat's during Christmas. It seems like babies are all around! We continue to be proud parents of our baby Parker, who seems to never grow up as he pines for our attention, particularly as it distracts us from Caleb- we may be in for a challenge getting him used to his own siblings one day. We finished off the season with a crazy new year with Alex & Tom at a Gin Blossoms concert, which only brought us back to the good ol' days (well at least me). It wasn't too big of a crowd but by the time we finally made it to the front by the stage, they said goodnight and refused an encore. What the hell? Well at least we got some dancing in to top off the night!
